We had a delightful, relaxing stay at the cute Peace of Heaven beach house. It was just what we needed and exactly as described. The decor was beachy and fun. The area is quiet and peaceful yet close to everything. The location 2 blocks to beach and 1 block to marsh was perfect. We could hear the surf all around us and see the ocean from the living room, and screened in and open porches. Just 6 blocks to great fishing spot on the marsh and the pier. The kids loved the pool. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (except oil or spices, could use some of those). We appreciated the quality shampoo/ conditioner/body wash in the showers. Towels were quality. Grill was great. Thank you! We will be back.

We've been to Holden Beach several times, but this trip was our best yet. This house had plenty of seating for the eight of us, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. The pool was great and well secluded behind the house, and the storage closet was full of pool and beach toys, beach wagons, and anything else we needed! If we go back to Holden Beach next year, we definitely plan on renting this house again!

This little property is located on a corner lot of a pleasant little area set off from the beach but still an ocean view. Beach access is a straight shot from the house and the walk is not far. The pool is a wonderful added bonus!

Master bedroom and Bath are awesom. Would like to see 2 double beds instead of singles. Close to beach access. Great open space in family room to play games and also cook while watching the game. We’ll be back. Would like to see a pantry or cabinets designated for dry goods.

The place is beautiful! We loved having our own pool! There are tons of pool/beach toys, chairs, and floats (more than I’ve seen at any rental before). The pool is awesome! The TVs in each bedroom was a plus.

The house was perfect for our expanding family. Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of room when we wanted to get together. The kitchen, dining area and living room was open and large enough for everybody. Under the house and the pool saved our vacation.Tropical storm Debby came in while we were there. We were able to play cornhole, cards on the picnic table, grill out and swim (when it wasn't raining). Communication with the owners was first rate and despite the weather we had a great time.

This house was perfect for us! It provided enough room for our family. We had children from 15 all the way to 2 and it met all of our needs. The walk to the beach was perfect, especially with two little kids and the pool was great to cool off after the beach. Our kids actually had a pool day instead of a beach day a couple of times. The deck around the pool was relaxing. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!

This house had everything we needed. The pool was a big hit as well as the easy beach access. The inside was very clean and looks like it was recently repainted! There were plenty of beach toys in the storage area. We will definitely consider staying here again!

My family has always vacationed at Holden Beach, but there was no availability. We took a chance and hit the jackpot! The pool was amazing and the house was very cozy! We rented a golf cart and had easy access to all of the stores, restaurants and Dairy Queen. We even booked and extra night!

We were so pleased with Our Piece of Heaven and our stay there. It is a quaint lovely island with some delicious restaurants near by. The beach is a short walk straight to a beach access. The pool was the highlight feature! Plenty of pool toys! The lovely ladies came mid week to clean and check the pool. We were so impressed! I used the wash and dryer with no issues. The upstairs bed didn’t feel like a queen (more like a full) but we managed and it slept great. We also were impressed with the amount of towels available! Overall we had a fantastic week!

The house was perfect for our family! Loved the pool, lounge chairs and outdoor shower! Plenty of space inside the house. It was very clean and kitchen is well equipped! I enjoyed sitting in rocking chairs and looking out at the ocean. Very nice area! Also, beach access was directly across the street. So convenient!! Would definitely come back!!!

We loved this house! It is literally right across the street from the beach access. The pool was a perfect touch for when you needed a break from the beach. Lots of kitchen utensils provided. Very clean and the beds were already made for us. Loved it!

This house is absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious for six adults and three children under three years old! It was equipped with everything you could possibly need! Most well equipped kitchen of any place we've ever stayed...baby gate, play pen... Also, alot of kids sand toys and boogie boards for the beach! Comfortable mattresses! A tv in every room! The check in and check out process was seemless! Only draw back for us and this is no fault of the owner but we waited too late in the year to rent (September) to be able to use the beautiful pool...water was very cold. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved everything about One Happy Place! The location was perfect-quick crossing of the street to the beach access and good beach views from the 2nd story deck! The amenities-the pool, the welcome basket, an outdoor storage area that had all of the beach and pool toys any kid or adult could want! Home was spotless! We loved this place and can’t wait to stay again!

Close beach access. Comfortable beds except for largest master bed. Plenty of towels, dishes and cleaning products. Pool was very well maintained. Felt like home.

We came back again this year since we had such a great time last year. The house is gorgeous and roomy. There were 6 adults and 4 kids in our group. Beach access is right across the street. Private pool is great for the kids. Kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. Just a great place for a family gathering.

This is our 2nd year in One Happy Place. As in the past, we appreciate that beds are made w/fresh linens. The home is very clean & well stocked. We truly hope to be able to stay here again in 2023.

This house was perfect in every way. Way bigger than it appears in the pictures. Plenty of everything from towels to trash bags. The closet with beach chairs, beach cart, sand & pool toys was great. The pool was plenty big and very clean. Beach access could not be closer. Gloria with Vacasa was great to work with. The kids loved the little items in the welcome basket that greeted us upon arrival. The house was very clean & very well maintained. They even provided a blower for outside and a vaccum and mop for inside to help keep the sand cleaned up. We will stay here if we ever return to Holden Beach.

This is by far the best beach house we have ever rented. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and the pool and decks were pristine. Definitely recommend staying here. We had a great time with our four little children and both sets of grandparents.

We just returned from One Happy Place on Holden Beach and it was beyond our expectations. We stayed for a week with our two little girls and parents. The house was beautiful. There were plenty of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. Kitchen was fully stocked. We loved the appliances in the kitchen and made cooking a breeze. The porch, pool and grilling area were our favorite parts of the house. We used the outdoor shower multiple times a day when returning from the beach! And the beach access is right across the street from the house. There was also plenty of beach chairs and toys for us to use. It was our first time at Holden Beach and let me tell you it is beautiful and quiet. I will say I was hesitant to book with Vacasa because of the previous reviews but I had an excellent experience working with this rental property management company. They checked on us a few times during the week to make sure we were comfortable on our stay. The house was very clean and ready for us on our arrival. We will be booking from Vacasa again and we look forward to staying at One Happy Place next year. We had such a great time! (Just one thing- bring beach towels when renting this house. After reading previous reviews, we brought beach towels so we were fine. There are plenty of bath towels just not any for the beach.)

1) The home was extremely clean (unlike our rental @ Holden last year); 2) It was very convenient to walk in to a bed already made up (neatly) - making the beds upon arrival is such a chore; 3) The welcome basket was such a nice surprise - w/all the essentials for kitchen & laundry 4) We loved the pool area - especially the comfy chairs by the pool and the fact that we had access to shade was appreciated.

We just returned from One Happy Place and couldn`t have been happier! The house was beautiful, everything looked brand new, upscale kitchen appliances, large rooms, tons of storage, quality TVs in the bedrooms. Location to beach access was wonderful...so close that we would go in the morning and again at night. Beach was great for families with tons of space to social distance and waves were safe for kids to boogie board without worry. Pool was perfect too, furniture around it was exactly what we needed. We LOVED our stay at One Happy Place!! It`s a great house, well stocked, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for a week-long stay and had plenty of space for two families, with 5 children between us. It’s awesome to have the pool to keep the kids occupied when they tire of the beach and the beach access is right across the street, making it easy to spend 20 minutes or hours on the beach. This is technically a second row home but it feels like it`s ocean front. We had great views of the sunset out of the master bedroom window and spent hours on the front decks watching the ocean, reading books and just relaxing on the rocking chairs. The rooms are all really big with lots of storage and we never felt like we were tripping over everything, as often happens with a houseful of kids. This was our first time at Holden Beach and we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was. The sand is super soft and the waves were perfect for our kids, ages 5-10 to enjoy. They boogie boarded a lot but I never felt nervous with them in the ocean. The owner and rental company were both super responsive and helpful. I would return to this home in a heartbeat. I can`t tell you enough how amazing this house is! It was the perfect home for this crazy time. The house is super comfy, with plenty of space. Loved all the storage available in every room and closet- allows you to truly unpack for the week. The master bath is AMAZING...can shower while looking at the beach. The beach access is right across the street, which is extremely convenient with little ones. Having the pool and the beach were so great and easy to bounce between the two with an outdoor shower to rinse off. Views from the top deck made you feel like you were oceanfront. We had a wonderful stay at One Happy Place. The house was immaculately clean and very well stocked for cooking (we made all our meals at the house). The location directly across the street from beach access was great for many quick trips to the beach (with young kids especially) during the day. The outdoor shower made cleanup a breeze. The outdoor pool was gorgeous and had lots of seating groups. It was also fully gated which gave us peace of mind with regard to safety. It was so nice to have our own private pool during the pandemic so we could swim and play without worry. The decor is gorgeous and made the stay feel luxurious. Can`t wait to return!
