We had an absolutely wonderful time. The host were very responsive with anything we needed. The swimming pool was a great bonus for the kids. It was a little chilly, but that’s due to the time of year we went everything was clean and exactly as described in the description of the home.

The house was freshly painted outside and the pool was great. Plenty of parking and we like the design. The kitchen table chairs are heavy, bulky and didn’t slide easily making it difficult to pull up to the table. The picnic table and rocking chairs on the back patio were perfect. Also, 2 thermostats so I didn’t freeze my parents at night. We had a great time. We will look for this unit in 2 years when we return.

This was probably one of the least stressful stays I've ever had in a rental. Entry was smooth and easy and the place was so clean. We didn't have any complaints. Sure, the place is a little outdated but it's clean and comfy and you can't beat the location right on the water. I will advise, if you have a big group, try to space showers out so everyone gets hot water. But that water pressure was a dream!!

The view from the porch was perfect, and it wasn't a long walk to the beach. The house needs a little TLC, but it was a decent place to stay for a great week.

Location was great. Pool was nice to have since we had lots of days with yellow flags for ocean rip tides. Located very close the general store, which had anything we needed. House is spacious. Room sizes were great. Our family had the best beach week here. Would 100% stay here again.

This was our 2nd visit to Bikini Bottom and everything was great! It was super clean and had everything we needed. The starter toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent were so nice to have. There was 7 of us and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We highly recommend this home!

What a cute little cottage for our beach vacation! Our family was able to spread out or gather together as we wished. Will definitely stay again!

Our family enjoyed everything about our stay at this house. The porch facing the beach was our favorite part, as we could enjoy the ocean even when it was raining. We also loved the sliding glass doors so we could enjoy the oceanfront benefit even on the couch. Everything is very comfortable, and while it is a no-frills kind of house, we had everything we needed to cook dinners there. Things I suggest you bring: (1) ground coffee (2) a spray cleaner for kitchen counters unless you are okay with bleach (3) beach chairs and toys — pool toys were the only thing there. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would return.

Our family loved the location and being able to enjoy the ocean just by opening the sliding glass doors. The house is no-frills but provides everything you need to be comfortable. We cooked our dinners there and the kitchen had everything we needed. Things I advise you to bring: ground coffee; a spray cleaner for the kitchen unless you are okay with one that has bleach; things you like to have for the beach (chairs, toys, etc) as there is nothing there except for pool toys. Overall our family had a wonderful stay and would return.

We were four adults and three teenagers and we never felt crowded. Lovely bedroom furniture and comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities; we were easily able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Would certainly come again!

My sisters and I visited for 4 days for my 50th birthday and it was just perfect for us. Great private pool and our own walkway to the beach. It was just what we needed. Had a wonderful time.

This was one of the best vacations our family has enjoyed! Surprisingly, the open concept of the home allowed 6 adults and 3 small children and a baby plenty of space. The house was clean, we had all the kitchen utensils we needed, and the dining and living room were equipped with enough seating for all of us. Rocking on the porch, catching the sea breeze and watching the waves was perfection. Our little ones (and a few adults) especially enjoyed the pool. Coming off the beach, a quick rinse then into the pool! If you are one to collect shark's teeth, Holden beach is it. My daughter and I got over 1,000 with a couple that were an inch long! Such fun and relaxing. The house is a little dated, but it is acceptable; we were not there for the house, we were there for the beach! Holden Beach is a family beach and not excessively crowded. We were near shops and restaurants so what more could you want? Great house, great beach!

This was a trip for my sister! It was fantastic. House was clean and comfortable. We had some minor issues which were dealt with immediately. Pool was cleaned daily. Great location on the beach!

We took 4 teens to the ocean and they had a blast! We have green freedom to go where they walked on the island and they took advantage of it. They actually were off their devices and had so much fun. We didn’t even have to bug them. The house was great, plenty to cook and bake with. Beds comfortable. We had a minor issue and maintenance resolved it in hours. I would definitely recc staying here! Beautiful views and located in the middle of the island. 16 miles of biking and gorgeous views!

We brought teens with us and between the beach access, the pool, and the great wifi- they were in heaven. They rode bikes all over the island daily too. Mr beach rental gave us bikes for only $49 for the entire week! (Mackinac island that will get u a few hrs). The beds were comfortable, the view gorgeous, and the house was stocked with what we needed to cook and feed hungry kids. Any issue or questions we had vacasa texted back right away. Excellent customer service!! The home was very cute and the couches cozy. It was clean when we arrived and the towels were really nice like what you find in nice hotels. The pans were stainless steel but cleaned up easy. The pots and pans were nice quality. Great job vacasa crew!

The house was amazing! Each side of the house had its own thermostat, which was great because my wife and I could keep our side very cool while our moms could keep their side warmer. The pool was amazing. Highly recommended!

Our family had a wonderful week at Bikini Bottom! It was very clean and nicely decorated. The 4 bedrooms were plenty spacious enough for our family of 7. The beds were actually pretty comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked but we could not find a pizza cutter. It was so nice to sit in the living room or the huge back deck and see the beautiful ocean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were 2 thermostats. One controlled the living room/dining/kitchen area and 2 bedrooms. The other controlled the other 2 bedrooms on the other side of the house. This worked out well as we have some in our family who stays hot and some who are always cold! The pool was great! It did have just a little sand/debris on the bottom in a couple of areas but it wasn't much and didn't distract from our enjoyment of the pool. The pool isn't heated, which we knew when we rented Bikini Bottom. It was pretty warm the first couple of days but the weather got pretty cool for a day or 2 (as it often does at the beginning of May) and then the water was much colder. It didn't stop the kids from getting in, though! We used the grill a couple of times. It has a small table next to it which was helpful. Plenty of parking under the house. The outdoor shower was nice. Of course, the beach was the big draw. This was our first time at Holden Beach and we found it magical. We couldn't believe how many shells that we found that were still whole and looked like the kind of shells you can buy at the souvenir store. I have never found so many cool shells on a beach trip and we also found over 200 shark teeth! One thing we really like about Holden Beach is that it is just houses and not full of condos and hotels. There is a nice biking path and a place to rent bikes on the island. The only problem we had was that only a small stream of water would come out of the kitchen sink faucet. I called the management office and spoke to a friendly lady who said she would send someone right out to look at it. The gentleman who came said that the owners already know about the faucet and he showed us the "sweet spot" to move the handle to in order to get a little bit more water to come out. It didn't mess up our vacation at all but it was a little frustrating when trying to hand wash dishes or fill up a big pot of water (which we ended up filling up with the shower faucet). The customer service was phenomenal. We would absolutely rent this home again!

We had a blast staying at one of the properties with Vacasa here at Holden Beach and we are beyond thankful for the opportunity for this trip!
