We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 3 kids (ages 9–14). The house had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated all the beach gear provided. Our favorite part was the private walkway straight to the beach with a cozy sitting area...such a great spot to enjoy the view. When we arrived, the central AC wasn’t running, but the hosts had window units set up so it was cool inside. Later in the week the AC kicked on and worked great (maybe a little too great...we were chilly the rest of the trip!). My in-laws stayed in the downstairs section and had no complaints. The only minor thing we noticed was that the upstairs shower could use a deeper clean, but it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, this was a fantastic rental and we truly enjoyed our vacation here. We’d happily come back!

This was an older home, but had very comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and terrific water pressure! The outside enclosed shower was great! The back porch was nice for enjoying morning coffee. The location was good and the neighbors were quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

This is our second stay @ My Three Buoys. It's definally a family favorite. A short walk to the beach or to grab coffee in the morning @ Ruby's. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, were able to catch up with the next door neighbors, and soak in the slow pace of Oak Island (prior to the busy season). We truly love this little gem of a house, and can't wait to return.

One of the last small scale oceanfront homes which is great for small groups. Well equipped kitchen. Screened porch on ocean side is a big plus.

Well the whole house is cozy and decorated with a beach theme. The kitchen is well supplied and has a dishwasher. My favorite place was the large screened porch that had a wrap around banquet and trees give the impression of being in a treehouse, from the front and down the side It’s walking distance to the pier and beach. Is all on one level and has a walk-in shower. Also no pets allowed. You can’t go wrong with My Three Bouys 👍😊

This was my second time here at Myers Moorings, and it didn't disappoint this year either! You can't get any closer to the ocean, it's perfect for two or 3 couples, a small family or in my case an old friend for half the trip and golf with the guys the second half. You will find bigger, newer, homes but the value of this BEACHFRONT house is tough to beat. Highly recommend, especially in the fall!

This house is perfect, if you dont like climbing alot of steps. It has everything you need. Very quiet neighborhood. Short walk to beach and Oak Island Pier. I would stay here again.

We loved how close it was to the beach and the pier. The neighborhood was really quiet and we felt safe. The decor was pleasing. Beds were really comfortable.

Short walk to beach. Open floorplan felt spacious for 5 adults and 2 children. Clean. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants was a nice bonus!

We wanted to come in for a weekend to check out Holden Beach. It was my baby’s first time at the beach! This home was perfect for what we needed. Adorable beach home, ocean front, not too far of a walk from door to beach. LOVED the screened in porch and walkway down to the beach. The AC in the home gets SUPER COLD (I had to actually turn it up cause oh my goodness it was chilly!) the kitchen has everything you need and more. The coffee pot is slow to perk (this is truly my only complaint). This house is stocked with what you need, extra blankets in closets, plenty of towels, they provided hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. Literally, all you need to pack is yourself and clothes. The is house is well stocked! They even had a chair for a baby, and a pack n play in a closet. Toys downstairs for the beach and had a good stock of games and such for teens. Perfect for families and people of all ages. I will recommend this home to anyone who asks, and rent it again, in the future!

We were blown away by the beauty and convenience of this home. The aesthetic is gorgeous, the size was perfect for our party of 5, and every detail was considered for our comfort. Our kids loved the toys and puzzles and us parents really enjoyed the screened in porch! We hope to return again and again!

This home was very cozy. Small enough for a couple and large enough for a family vacation. Perfect location within walking distance of the beach and local restaurant.

What didn't we like. Beach front! Charming, cozy. Close to restaurants, short drive to golf courses. Did I mention beach front? You can pay more money and find somewhere with more room, more bells and whistles. But for us it was just right 👍.

We stayed here last year, when this home was managed by a different company, and WOW what a positive difference Vacasa management makes to a vacation experience! Super easy check in & check out, incredibly clean, complimentary dishwasher & washing machine detergent, loved visiting with Tyler when he came by to roll our trash cans out for us, and Christine was great to strategize with regarding the kittens we found. Also, the king bed (which a previous reviewer noted) has been replaced with a new one, a new outdoor shower has been built, and any musty smell (a previous reviewer noted) is completely gone. Everything was super! We had 3 generations with us (ages 8 - 84) and this home was great for everyone. We especially love that it has hardly any stairs, which is unusual for a beach house. Two thumbs up for our 2nd great summer vacation at "My Three Bouys"!

The house was a short walk to the beach, pier, and a few beachside restaurants. Although it rained a bit during our stay, it was a cozy getaway.

I was visiting the area and looking at real estate as I plan to relocate. The home was very comfortable and offered some nice amenities. The one and only downside was that they outdoor fireplace didn't have any propane, so we couldn't take part in hanging outside with that particular ambiance.

This was our 2nd time staying here. It'd been probably 10 years since our first time. I still love this lil house! I have a teen and young adult that used the downstairs as their own space and they loved it! Made a great space for them! Upstairs is just as great as the first time. I love the screened in porch and open porch combo! I would stay here again! Hated to leave❤ Only 2 issues: 1) downstairs shower was a bit hard to use and 2) the walkway shower lost the water nob and the lower hose was badly split

This house was perfect for our family. It was cozy enough to spend time together but enough room between upstairs and downstairs that we could spread out. This was the most well-stocked rental I have ever stayed in! There were plenty of kitchen cookware, dishes and utencils which was nice because we cooked every meal. The sand toys for kids was a nice surprise as well and came in handy! Our favorite part overall was the outdoor seating areas! Such a nice place to spend time with family. I would highly recommend booking this quaint beach cottage!

Beautiful view from the back breezeway!!! Right on the beach. Had everything at the house we could have thought to bring. Close to many shopping areas and restaurants. If you like a more secluded family friendly destination, this is for you!!!
