This quiet cottage nestled at the confluence of the Shallotte River and the Intracoastal Waterway is waiting to welcome you to Coastal Carolina living. This cozy golf-and-sea getaway puts you within easy reach of all of the Crystal Coast's renowned recreation offerings, including golf, fishing, boating, and all-around relaxation. The oceanfront community of Ocean Isle Beach is just over six miles away. The just-completed 120-foot private pier with water edge deck and fishing platform is now ready for use. This deck is perfect for morning coffee and sunset views up the waterway, fishing, and watching boats cruise by. Bring your boat, embark from either of the two nearby boat launches, and take a trip to Monk Island, where you can lounge on the private beach. Life jackets, beach chairs, and umbrellas ensure your sandy excursions will be as safe as they are fun! At home, soak in the river views while lounging on the private deck, playing on the back lawn, or unwinding in the furnished sunroom. We had a great time at the Coastal Cottage. The cabin is older, but very clean and well maintained. The dock is wonderful to sit out and fish or watch the boats go by. Will definitely stay again! The only thing we wish it had was a washer/dryer. That would have been handy on a 5 day trip with towels and swimsuits. Will definitely stay again again!

Beautiful home with an amazing view. Nice for a family of 5 or less. I don't recommend eating at the restaurant beside cottage though. Food was pricey and burnt.

Space was nice and clean. Beds comfortable and not far from Ocean Isle or Holden Beach. Would definitely stay again.

This house is conveniently located close to places to buy groceries. It is also within walking distance to the Inlet View Bar and Grill. The house is an older one but has been redone and the decor is charming. The beds were okay. Although it has a strange layout and no dishwasher, it was adequate for our needs. We spent most of our time fishing and crabbing on the pier. The pier is in excellent shape and we were able to catch crocker, pin fish, blue crabs, stone crabs, sharks, skates, a string ray, and sea bass. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe staying here. The area is not filled with tourists, which made for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I would stay here again!

Perfect place to stay for a vacation at Ocean Isles. 2 bedrooms, screened in porch, large back deck, grill, beach gear on site, and only about a 10 minute drive from the public access.

Enjoyed the oversized back deck overlooking the ICWW. Just amazing. Cottage has everything you need, including numerous beach chairs to take on the go. Management company maintains regular contact whether you need assistance or not. Very impressive with their level of service. Can't wait to return.
