We had a wonderful trip, the home exceeded our expectations in every way! The beautiful decor right when we entered the home was so inviting. The home was very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the patio was the perfect place to sit to drink coffee in the mornings. We'll definitely return to Coastal Gem.

While searching for a place to stay in North Carolina, I found this gem in Ocean Isle. This place is literally brand new and located within minutes to two beaches, Ocean Isle and Sunset. Golf courses are close by and their is fantastic dining in Calabash. The accommodations were inviting, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the house had a washer and dryer we made use of after a trip to the beach. Our host had WiFi available and left contact information in case we had any questions. Getting in was a breeze, and we felt very much at home. Kudos to Marilyn on having such pleasant and inviting accommodations! We plan to return.

I would say location, location, location, but there are so many beautiful reasons we loved this last minute getaway other than just the location. It's beautifully decorated, very clean, and easy to it's definitely a Coastal Gem. We'll be back to this home before the end of the season!
