We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The host added so many small touches that made a big difference. The kids especially loved their room, it was stocked with books and games that kept them entertained. (Magnetic Tic tac toe) We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities like strong WiFi with an easy-to-use QR code for quick connection, and full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash instead of the tiny travel bottles you usually get. The blackout curtains were a great touch too, making it easy for everyone to sleep in comfortably. The remote-controlled ceiling fans were another nice bonus that added extra comfort. Overall, it was a cozy and well-thought-out place to stay, and we would definitely come again!

Our stay at Whispering Waves was absolutely fantastic! The house was spotless upon arrival, which immediately put us at ease. Its location was perfect—just a quick 10-minute drive to the beaches and even closer to restaurants, making it the ideal home base for all of our daily adventures. The home had great amenities that made our weekend even better: blackout curtains so we could sleep in, a great living room for watching movies at night, and a patio set to enjoy coffeef in the morning. The decor in the home was beautiful, with the adorable kids room being my favorite (magnetic tic tac toe on the wall, so cool)! We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in Ocean Isle Beach.

Great home! Plenty of space for 6. Stocked shelves with needed kitchen items, linens, towels, starter packs for laundry & dishwasher. Great shampoo and soap stocked in showers! The little things help add up to a lot of savings & are super helpful to save on packing. Vacuum even had a handheld battery portion which helped me get the sand out of my car on the day I left. It’s not on the beach (hence the much cheaper price) but was convenient to Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach, and the great seafood town of Calabash. Keeping it in my future plans.

We had an amazing stay at this charming coastal home in Ocean Isle Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The house is beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress-free vacation — from fresh linens and towels to a fully stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The living room was cozy and perfect for movie nights or playing the board games provided. We especially loved the outdoor patio for morning coffee and evening meals in the fresh ocean air. The bedrooms were comfortable and offered plenty of space for our family to relax after long days at the beach. Speaking of the beach — it's just a short trip away, along with tons of local attractions like great restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. We tried paddleboarding for the first time and spent hours just walking the beach and enjoying the sunset. Having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge plus, especially with kids. This home truly offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and adventure. We’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat or fun-filled coastal escape

We vacation in Ocean Isle Beach at the start of summer and just after Labor Day, and we always enjoy trying out different places to stay. This home absolutely exceeded our expectations! It was spotless, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home. When we weren’t at the beach, the boys were off fishing while the girls went shopping—it was so convenient being close to all our favorite activities like fishing, shopping, golfing, and trying new restaurants. One of our favorite parts was just relaxing together at the house, and we were thrilled to find a great selection of board games for family game nights. I had to work for a couple of days during our stay, and the setup in one of the bedrooms was perfect for remote work—quiet, comfortable, and productive. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook, which made it easy to enjoy homemade meals together. Every detail was just right, and we’re already planning to come back. Highly recommend this home for a fun, relaxing family vacation!

We decided at last minute that we wanted to take a beach trip for a long weekend. We found this beautiful home and I'm so glad we did. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted with a clean, very well decorated home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner at the house before heading to the Sunset Beach Town Park which was less than 5 miles away. This was a perfect place to watch the sunset and fish. The back patio was our hangout spot in the morning while we drank our coffee before just a short (roughly 4 miles) drive to the public beach access. The beds were so comfy and the home was the perfect size for our family of 5. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

What a great stay! Everything you need and more with games for kids. The house was exceptionally clean and decorated very beautifully! Found a lot of hidden gems of places to eat nearby as well.
