This remarkable, waterfront oasis bursting with incredible views and lavish amenities, serves as the perfect launch pad while exploring serene Ocean Isle Beach! Step into this escape's open-concept living area and be greeted by high ceilings, sun-soaked interiors, and sophisticated coastal decor. Snuggle up on the cozy sectional for family movie night or break out the board games. Direct access to the spacious, well-furnished balcony makes hosting and gathering for meals a breeze. Enjoy breakfast, share laughs, and relax next to the lagoon with a fountain. A well-appointed kitchen hosts modern appliances and gleaming countertops for effortless food preparation. There is a kitchen bar with counter seating and an adjacent dining area to share meals together. The bedrooms are adorned with luxe linens and elegant accents for supreme comfort. A true highlight of this home is the lower patio, featuring patio furniture, a hammock, a porch bed, and an outdoor shower. After a full day of adventure, rinse off any sandy gear, and unwind with a glass of wine from your shaded retreat. Ideally located for excitement and recreation, delight in being just steps away from the shore. (Don't forget the provided lounge chairs and beach toys!) You'll also find the Museum of Coastal Carolina, The Swamp Park, and Sunset Beach Fishing Pier all within a nine-mile radius. Spend a day fishing, exploring local wildlife exhibits, and zip-lining amidst gorgeous scenery. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy Tidewater Golf Club's (22 miles) well-designed courses and family-friendly entertainment. Additional amenities we love in this home include a Pack 'N Play with a 3-inch mattress, central air-conditioning, and a private washer/dryer for those packing light. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

We enjoyed the hammock, swing bed and all of the Adirondack chairs downstairs next to the water. This home is clean, decorated nicely and has some great amenities!

This house was absolutely amazing. The host has thought of almost anything that’s needed. Starting with the outside, the house and community are well kept. Palm trees everywhere, yards well kept. The outside furniture was very nice and comfortable, it included a hammock, an outside swinging bed, many chairs, and high captains chairs on the upstairs deck. The house had a lagoon with a fountain in back. We enjoyed watching fish jump and turtles swim in it. The inside was very comfortable. The beds were great and so was the couch so relaxing inside was easy as well. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook at the house if that’s what you wanted to do. Very nice pots and pans, storage containers, a great coffee pot and a wonderful blender. The amenities aside, I was surprised to find things in the house that were there, left from previous renters or from the owners, that were so nice to have. Many common spices, flour, sugar, ketchup, mustard, mayo, some eggs etc. The bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, lotions. I realize that none of these things are a constant from an availability standpoint, but seeing these items not go to waste, paying it forward and helping the next vacationers was so great to see. They had many needed items like beach chairs, skim board, beach umbrella, beach games, corn hole and a bonus- a shibumi shade. This beach only permits shibumis and beach umbrellas- no canopies. The week we were there was exceptionally hot and the shibumi (which I did not want to personally invest in) was a life saver. The only thing that I can see as an improvement is more than likely out of the control of the owner- the community pools do not have any chairs or loungers. It was uncomfortable to sit on a beach chair at the pool. The pool was immaculate and well kept, I just think chairs would be an excellent addition. Also if you’ve never been to Ocean isle- consider renting a golf cart. After we got there and saw the convenience of them, we wish we would have had one and there were not available to rent at that late date. Many thanks to the owners for such a well thought out rental!!!!

This house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The 3 bathrooms are updated and very clean. This was our second time staying here and won’t be our last.

Very relaxing, like home. We had three of our sons visit while we were there, one of which visited us here last year, so he knew what to expect. They were in Aw! Plenty of room for all. We also had three of our grandchildren, two of which has never been to the beach, amazing experience for them as well. The second half of our stay, we had our neighbors (husband & wife) stay with us. Again, they were in 'Wow mode!' The amenities are amazing. They even got to see people they graduated high school with, that just happen to be on Ocean Isle at the same time. Awesome time for everyone!!!!!

This was our first year staying in this side of the island and loved it. Being right on the canal was picturesque. We had many fun family evenings hanging out downstairs on the cool furniture and playing cornhole. The house decor was beautiful and just the right amount of nautical. The kitchen had everything you could need! The only thing I would add is a description or photo of the beach items you provide. We brought a bunch of unnecessary items.

This home is awesome for a family beach vacation. Lots of outdoor space, outdoor shower is a plus! Home is very comfortable and setup nice for a family to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed too! We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return next year!

We recently stayed at this stunning beach house and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of its beautiful decor which perfectly captured the seaside vibe. The house was just steps away from the beach, making our daily strolls along the shore incredibly convenient. Not only was the location ideal, but the house was also surprisingly affordable, which was a huge plus for our budget. The amenities were exactly what we needed—modern, clean, and user-friendly. Whether we were cooking up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen or relaxing in the cozy living areas, we felt completely at home. Everything we could have possibly wanted was provided, making our stay hassle-free and incredibly comfortable. Our time at the beach house was genuinely wonderful. We left feeling refreshed and cherished every moment of our serene retreat by the sea. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a spectacular beach vacation— It Happened truly is a slice of paradise!

Such a great place for family and friends to enjoy a beach getaway. Complete with all the personal touches and conveniences of home, it’s a short walk to the beach or the pool and a short drive to any number of family-friendly amenities. We loved our time there, and we look forward to returning again soon!

We had the best time! This is one of the cleanest and nicest beach rentals we've ever stayed at. Loved the swing overlooking the lagoon, taking the golf cart to dinner and walks on the beach! The beach here is gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again!
