We have really enjoyed staying here for a few years now. There have been home improvements since last year and we loved the new kitchen. Our favorite thing to do is sit on the covered porch and people watch. There are plenty of chairs and rockers for the family. The beach is at the bottom of the stairs - literally. It’s amazing.

We loved the house, it was perfect for a much needed family vacation. High tide during the tropical storm did come up to the porch which scared half the household but the rest of us didn’t mind and enjoyed being close to the ocean.

The house was a very well equipped place for a week at the beach. In around 30 trips to the area the kitchen, while small, was the best equipped in my memory. The dishes were a little heavy, but that is a minor thing. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The only down side was there was a public beach access next to the house it would have been nice to know about. We had to get out there pretty early in order to claim a spot on the sand. We will be checking next year to see if it is available, because overall it was a very positive experience.

The location of this property is amazing. A short walk to the beach, the best views off the deck. The house is aged but the location mores than compensates. If you are going to the beach to enjoy the beach this is the place for you.

This is our third visit staying at Summer Sands and we love it! At the beach, it is location first and foremost for us and you can’t get any closer than with this house. It is literally on the beach. The unit is clean, the washer and dryer is great, plenty of parking and the deck off the dining area is our favorite spot to people watch, dolphin watch or just to sit and relax. It’s an older home with not the latest and greatest gadgets or kitchen appliances but it’s functional and we love it. Again, the location is unbeatable

Summer Sands is in a wonderful location. It offers more privacy. We enjoyed the sunroom so much. It is very comfortable and spacious. The skylights we a wonderful touch. We loved the upstairs balcony. Everything was clean and stocked. We are already looking at dates to stay again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Second time staying at this house. It’s comfortable, has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and you can’t get closer to the ocean! It’s literally on the beach!

Great location with only a walk up beach access on one side of the house. Plenty of room for sleeping/beds, etc. and dining. Also multiple decks. When it was high tide, you could throw a rock into the ocean. Pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. comfortable furniture. Great water pressure for the showers. Water and outside shower access to help clean up from the sand. Multiple TV's throughout the house, and wifi. Over all great experience. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We just had our family vacation. Normally we go to North Myrtle, but wanted somewhere to take the fur babies this year. This place is not steps from the beach but on the beach and only a 5 to 10 min ride to shops and restaurants. Which is a very big plus because when you work alot you basically in your car and when on vacation I don't go anywhere for a couple of days...DOORDASH. The house was very clean, the beds clean and comfortable. It big enough that we weren't in each other's way, with 5 bedrooms, a living room, sunroom and porch off the kitchen facing the ocean, we could spread out. We normally bring games and books, but they already had loads of games and a bookshelf upstairs full of different titles and authors. The kitchen was stocked with any type of cooking gadget, pots and pans that we needed. Even coffee in the cabinet for the coffee pot (Big THANKS for that by the way, I forgot to pack mine). My only problem was the only TVs in the house was 2 upstairs bedrooms, the living room and sunroom. Need TVs in all bedrooms and living room for us that need to unwind before falling asleep. But will definitely be booking this one again.
