We just spent a week in this house, and had a really great time! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient and the kitchen was large enough for our family. The pool was really nice to have, next time we would bring a tent or umbrella, so it could be shaded in the afternoon since it’s in full sun. Convenient location to beach access and close enough to hop on the golf cart to ride into the main part of the island for ice cream or the park. Really nice house, very comfortable, we have already booked next year stay!Jamie -

The home was well equipped with all that our large family needed for meals and family time. We loved that each BR had its own en suite. We enjoyed lots of pool time and appreciated the close proximity to the beach. Loved the upper deck for dolphin watching in the morning and listening to the surf in the evening. The elevator made groceries and luggage so much easier too.Sandy -

The house had a lot to offer, so many comfortable rooms, and plenty of bathrooms! The kitchen is large and has a lot of room, we enjoyed making breakfast and drinking coffee on the balcony, the view was so beautiful! The walk to the beach was quick and even had a ton of parking! We had an amazing stay and loved the house! The team was also quick with any needs and checked in to make sure the stay was going well! Thanks again for being a great host!Horton -

Family Vacation
We booked this place for our annual family vacation. The spaces were exactly as described in the listing. It is very close to public beach access (5 house down) and because of the shorter houses across the street the ocean view was great from the top deck. The pool was warm despite being the last week of sept so that was a pleasant surprise for us. Having 2 living room spaces was ideal for our group. Beds were comfy and the elevator was a big hit for moving luggage/groceries and used daily by those that struggled with the stairs. We would definitely consider renting this house again for future stays.Jonathan T. -

This house met all of our requirements: elevator for my 82 year old mom, pet friendly, and perfect bed configuration for our family. We sat on the deck and could see the ocean which was nice because the houses across the street are one story. Close walkable beach access. Very nice place and we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again.Lisa -

The home needs some attention like others have mentioned. I sent the issues we had privately to the realtor company for them to address. Nice walking distance to public beach access!Heather -

Great home for 4 generation reunion
We had 10 people ages 2-84 stay at Life’s Too Shore for a beach week reunion. The home was perfect for us with separate bathrooms for each bedroom, two sitting areas, an elevator and a pool. Great view over the top of the houses across the street on the oceanfront. Elevator made it easy for the 80+ year old and the toddlers to navigate from ground level to the 3rd floor. The small pool was great for the kids and the public beach access was less than a block walk/golf cart ride. The kitchen is well-equipped, although there was no Keurig, despite one shown in the photos. Nice grill on the ground floor as well. Highly recommend!Daniel A. -

We stayed at Life’s Too Shore for a week long family get together. 10 people ranging in age from 2.5 to 84. We had an excellent time and the home was great! Separate bathrooms for every bedroom were ideal so people did not have to wait for others. The kitchen was well-equipped and the pool was great for the little ones (2.5 and 4). The WiFi was strong so a couple who had to work remotely could do so effectively. The home is across the street from the oceanfront homes, but those between the ocean and Life’s Too Shore are both low rises, so the view, especially from the 3rd level deck, was excellent. A couple of things I would point out-the listing noted that the beds in the bunk bed room were a queen and a twin. This is incorrect-the lower bed is a full, not a queen. Also, the kitchen supposedly had a Keurig (and the photos on the site showed a Keurig). But there was no Keurig, just a drip coffee maker. Other than those points, we loved the house and look forward to staying there again in the future!Daniel -

Perfect House for Family Trip
We loved this house! It was hard to leave. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was well-stocked. The pool is small but the kids loved it and we’re glad we had it heated. The layout of the house is great with bedrooms spread out and the upper level with kitchen/family room/big deck was so nice. The houses across the street are low so you really do have an awesome ocean view. Beach access spots are close. All good!Kristen B. -

It was very specious and clean. There are several balconies to choose from, and an adorable pool. Huge kitchen and dining area upstairs, and lots of lounging area on both floors. Having an elevator was so helpful as well! We highly recommend this home!Cindy -

Overall we liked this house a lot and would probably stay here again. The manager and maintenance were so responsive to our concerns, the house was clean, we had PLENTY of towels and linens which was unexpected, and we loved having a full bathroom in every bedroom.Kassidie -

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family. Enough room for 11 of us comfortably and the elevator was a Godsent for my mother. The decks were perfect, with great views of the ocean. Very relaxingPAUL -

This house was absolutely beautiful. My family loved the ocean views and how easily accessible the public beach access was. When we arrived the house was very clean, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. One thing I do recommend is utilizing the pool heater. The water was quite cold and that side of the house doesn’t see sunlight until late afternoon. However, this is no fault of the owners. The pool was still a blast and very well kept. The beds are very comfy and I also appreciated that each bedroom has a private bathroom. We are already planning on booking again for 2024.Mikayla -

Wonderful non obstructed views of the ocean across the street! Elevator was so useful!! Not only for our old labradors, but hauling all our stuff up. The house had everything we needed. Could use a new coffeemaker, but that was it.. First time to Ocean Isle. We will be backDiane -

An Outstanding Beach Retreat to Remember...
We have a growing family of 6 adults and 1 1/2 children and 1 noble dog. Our customary vacation of timesharing did not provide enough room for all of us to share a central living area and separate bed and bathrooms anymore. This house provided all of that and more. The bedrooms had wonderful mattresses...absolutely no complaints. The house was maintained beautifully and in very good condition. There were TVs in every bedroom and in both living rooms, but honestly we hardly used them, because the balcony was our favorite spot. The balcony views of the ocean were worth the entire cost. The top floor balcony had a partial covered area and an unsheltered area, with furniture to relax on. Again...perfect. We spent our week at the beach (less than a 5 minute walk) and checking out the areas around us. There were just enough things to do without being an overwhelmingly touristy area like Myrtle Bch, but still providing us a break from the beach and sun. Our entire family gave a hearty thumbs up. We love the laid back feel of Ocean Isles Beach! Now for the nuts and bolts of the stay... There were sheets, quilts, pillows, and limited though sufficient towels. Bring your own if you like more than 2 sets per bedroom. Also bring your own hand/shower soap, toilet paper, paper towels. The amount of kitchen gadgets (garlic press, peelers, etc) were amazing. I can only surmise people purchase and leave them. There is a coffee maker that uses basket type filters, but also can fit keurig type pods (didn't use that part). There are tons of plates, glasses, cups, bowls, forks spoons, knives. What there isn't is pots, pans and skillets that I would call useable. There were a couple pieces, but the Teflon was so scratched I wouldn't use them. (In fairness, renters are probably not very gentle on these items, but quality was still limited). Fortunately, my kids hadn't left their homes and I had them bring us some. I did call the management company and they said replacements would be brought, but they never came. I would definitely suggest you bring at least a skillet and large pot if you plan to cook. All the appliances worked fine...oven, stove toaster, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. The 4 burner Weber grill worked beautifully. We did request a heated pool as we were here in early May. Because I had seen previous reviews that had issues with pool heating, the first thing we did was check the heated pool. As previously reported it was not heated. We called it in, and the pool people did come, but still no heat. Vacasa refunded our money immediately when requested. We did brave the pool anyway and it wasn't too cold for our 3 year old granddaughter. There were lounges and chairs. There were no pool toys or beach equipment to use, so bring your own. Without hesitation we would rent this house again. The owners maintain it beautifully. An added bonus... there is a telescope in the upper living room, and we were there during the lunar eclipse. Thank you to the owners, we enjoyed it immensely!ROBERT B. -
We appreciate you choosing to stay with us, Robert. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed your accommodations. The pots and pans past their time have been thrown out, and we have purchased new ones to replace them. Thank you!CarolinaBreezeVacations.com staff

Should have been 5 stars all around
We picked this property because it had several main items we needed - elevator for my 89 year old father, a full size bed in all rooms with en suite baths, accepted dogs and had a pool that could be heated for an extra fee. The house was beautiful, the location and views were excellent. However, we did not check the pool heat until the following day (Sunday), no heat. When I called Vacasa, the mgmt co. they said they would have someone there first thing Monday morning. They did not show until around 1 pm and stated would take 12-24 hours for it to heat. There also was no phone call or notification back to us to let us know that they had even taken care of the problem. By the time it heated up on Tuesday half of our family members were leaving to go home. We enjoyed it on Wednesday, Thursday it rained. Our last full day, Friday, we planned on spending at the pool but for some reason it was no longer heated. When I called they stated they would put in a ticket for service - very frustrating. We did not get to enjoy the last day as planned and there again was no communication back to us from Vacasa. I am still waiting to see if they reimburse the full amount for the pool heat. All that being said, the house and location were sooo nice that I would definitely rent it again. Just wish there was better communicationRebecca T. -
