Cleanest cottage that we have ever rented! Very nice place.

Have no hesitations of staying at this little oasis! If you've never been to OKI, do it! The Bridge restaurant for breakfast, try the chowder! Make reservations at Salt64 BEFORE you go! Go sit and have lunch on the beach at the Lazy Turtle. Just about everything is great in this quiet little beach town.

Perfect house to share for a family reunion in town. House was very clean, full items, dishwasher soap, and paper towels provided, everything we needed to have a great long weekend. Would recommend and return!

House was beautifully decorated, very clean, updated looked brand new and equipped with all necessities. No closet in master to hang clothes so I brought a portable clothes hanger and set it up. Close to grocery store, ice cream shops and so much more. Advertised as two short blocks walk to the beach but actually 2 1/2 very long blocks walk to the beach. Very high temps the week we were there so we decided to drive each day to the beach. Lots of parking places available but paid parking only. After 5pm free parking. You can rent street legal golf carts if you choose too. We rented bikes and they were delivered before we arrived and picked up after our check out. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was surveillance cameras outside on both screened in porches making it uncomfortable to sit outside.

We had a great time at Sea-N-Red. The house was clean and decorated very nicely. We loved all of the porches and sitting areas outside. It was also nice having the upper and lower rentals as separate places. My sister and her family rented the lower half so we still got to be close by, but also have our separate spaces for napping children, etc. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we expected. It said it was a 6 minute walk, but it was really a 10 minute walk. It would have been ok, except for having to cross the super busy 3 lane highway with a wagon and 2 small children. So this added more time to the walk since we had to stand there for so long and wait for a break in traffic to be able to safely cross. That was the worst part of the whole week. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. The bidet toilet did scare me a little, but I guess some people would like it haha! There was also an outdoor shower that was not mentioned anywhere on the website, possibly because there was no door on it. Maybe one will be added later? It was nice to be able to shower the kids off and not track in all that sand. There was not tons to do in Oak Island, unless you drove to another area. The beach was great. The pier was close by. Lots of ice cream choices. There is a fun playground and splash pad nearby that has outdoor concerts on Friday nights. We made some great family memories here and enjoyed our stay!
