We had a fantastic stay at the Oak Island Gem! Beautiful home and well appointed with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Short drive to beach and parking was easy to find. The beach itself was very nice! We would highly recommend this rental home.

This is our second year staying at the Nauti Turtle. We truly love this house and all it has to offer. We are a group of 8, 2 adults with 6 teenagers. The set up is perfect for us, the teens have the lower level to themselves, with comfortable sleeping arrangements, 2 full bathrooms to share and their own private family room and balcony. We have the master on the upper level with the kitchen and living room, which provides ample space for all to hang out, share meals and watch a movie or have a game night, but also provides the option for separation of space that you want as well. The home is extremely well maintained and clean! Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked. Located 1/2 block from the beach and the surf shop, ice cream and slushy shops are all the next block over as well. We will certainly be back again next year!

The Nauti Turtle is perfect for a large group. We had 11, and it accommodated us perfectly! The are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the layout is very spacious. The kitchen is made for entertaining and is very well stocked with anything and everything you need. We had such a memorable time sharing meals and playing games and relaxing on the many porches listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. The house is right across the street from multiple beach accesses and walkable to the adorable island shops. Sunset Beach is our favorite beach get away and this house is a perfect place in which to spend it!

This great beach house was perfect for my group of four adults to use while attending a family wedding and various family activities. It was close to the venue, close to the beach, and close to the quaint town of Southport. We enjoyed our five day stay and found the furnishings to be very comfortable and the decor very cute and well done. It was a real treat to have all clean and new appliances as well as a very well equipped kitchen. A highlight for all was to have a nice washer and dryer. Another wonderful amenity was the screened in porch off the kitchen. We enjoyed our coffee out there every morning. Everything was just perfect and we are hoping to return for another stay in the future.

Oak Island Gem was a very spacious and clean home that worked great for my daughter and I. Online description is misleading and Roku is available for other streaming options besides Netflix. A slight downer this year that we had to pay for parking at the beach so we dropped off and had someone ride their bike back to the beach from the house. The outdoor shower is always a bonus and a nice option. This definitely is a location we could see ourselves coming back to in the future.

This home is absolutely perfect! Has everything you need for your stay! The screened in back porch was so refreshing for late night talks and the outside shower was definitely a plus! The house was super clean & the beds slept amazing. Vacasa was on top of the entry and exit! Will definitely be back!

This houe was on the lower end of the island, away from the traffic but close enough for a short golf cart ride (we rented ours fro Petes Golf carts), car ride to any restaurant, store or evening icecream. Very clean and you didnt need for anything but what you wanted to cook. All the dishes, utensils and basic supplies are there and the fridge could hold enough to feed everyone for the week. Enjoyed morning and evening coffee out on the screaned in deck or sit on the front porch with gluder rockers. Wish they would allow for pups but other than that 100% will stay here again.

This house had everything we needed and then some!! Everything we needed was already there from dish soap to shower soap. Kitchen was well stocked with all that you need to cook a gourmet meal. Plenty of seating for the 6 of us to watch a movie or relax after a long day on the beautiful beach! So close to Southport and so many restaurants, stores and places to have a drink and enjoy the sunsets! It was the Perfect spot for our couple's getaway. The home was beautiful, nicely decorated and the beds were soooo comfortable! The outdoor shower was a great bonus! Close enough to everything, yet on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home! We will definitely be back!!

I would 100% recommend this beach home. Very clean, very cozy, and came with amenities that were very useful. We loved the outdoor porch and the fenced-in backyard. The outdoor shower & bike were great as well!
