Description

Set in a tree-filled residential neighborhood, this 3BR/2BA home is walkable to both the beach and Intracoastal Waterway. Youll love the high ceilings, beach gear, bikes, and numerous outdoor spaces. Sip your morning coffee in a rocker on the shaded porch. Grill out on the patio or savor a crisp beverage on the screened porch. After a day of fun in the sand and surf, refresh in the outdoor shower. LIVING AREA The living room features vaulted ceilings and a smart TV. KITCHEN & DINING Prepare tasty meals in the kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances. Sliding doors open to the screened porch. The dining table seats five and the kitchen bar seats two. BED & BATH This home sleeps eight guests between three bedrooms. The primary bedroom is furnished with a King bed and a smart TV. The en-suite bathroom provides a double vanity and a soaking tub/shower combination. The second bedroom is appointed with a queen bed, smart TV, and a writing desk. The third bedroom includes a twin-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath, a smart TV, and a selection of board games. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES The patio under the home is equipped with a gas griddle, and an enclosed outdoor shower. The screened porch offers plenty of seating and a ceiling fan. The covered front porch has a pair of rocking chairs. Romp and play in the spacious backyard. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Complimentary high-speed WiFi (fiber), a washer/dryer, multiple bikes for different ages as well as beach gear are provided in your vacation rental. There are incredible outdoor items including fishing poles/tackle, a kayak, and a hammock. Parking for four cars: one in the garage and three in the driveway. This raised home is accessed via one flight of steps. LOCATION Cruise to the beach, or stroll 14 minutes via the SE 20th Street Scenic Walkway. Fish at Veterans Park (11 minutes) on the Intercoastal Waterway or walk 15 minutes to the waterfront Environmental Overlook Trail. Hit the links at Oak Island Golf Club. Take an afternoon at Caswell Beach and the Oak Island Lighthouse, then enjoy a memorable meal along East Oak Island Drive.

This house was the perfect spot for our family of 6! (Parents and 4 kids ages 9-14). Everything was very nice and clean and had a very comfortable homey feel. I always appreciate knowing more specific amenities that aren’t typically listed, so here are some to help others. The living room couch is large and comfortable. There is a large basket with throw blankets to use, which was helpful! Kitchen had medium sized crock pot, blender, mixer, both drop and K-cup coffee makers, and air fryer in the pantry. There were also spices, sugar for coffee, some coffee filters. All bedrooms and living room equipped with TVs with Roku. My kids loved the hammock swing chairs underneath the house- we all spent a lot of time there! Lots of comfortable seating and very pleasant. Plenty in the garage- there were 6 bikes that my kids liked riding on the quiet side street. There are beach chairs and boogie boards. There is also a nice collapsible beach cart that was sooo handy! It was a great location and house, would highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying in this quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of space for the four of us. I wouldn't consider it a walk to the beach with young kids. It's much better to pack up and drive.

The house was cozy, clean, had all the amenities of home (unlike a hotel). We met a neighbor who was terrific and we stole some puppy love from his shepherd. Thank you-we felt taken care of!

Very nice beach house. Super clean and well stocked. Literally had anything you could possibly need for your stay other than clothing and food. Super quiet neighborhood and very easy to access the strip where all the stores and resteraunts were located. We absolutely loved the weeks stay and have no complaints at all and if we ever come back to oak island this is hands down the home we will rent again.

Wonderful clean house that's not too far from the beach! They also have bikes and kayaks for use, and we really enjoyed the bikes during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

The house is very clean and decorated very nicely- like I would decorate my home. The owners have made if very inviting and welcoming. It is situated at the perfect spot on the island, out of the busyness of the island but most things within a 2-5 minute drive. They offer many ammenities that make nights or afternoons at the house fun! I would highly recommend for anyone to stay at “Seas the Day at the Salty Crab”!!

Our family very much enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. Everything in the home was so convenient for our family. We actually hosted meals two different evenings for our children and grandchildren, who stayed in other homes on the island. The screened in porch was perfect for all the children to eat their meals and play. After we figured out the beach access parking, which is new, we enjoyed the beach. We have stayed on OKI for over 20 years with our family. This home is definitely on our short list of favorites. Hope to get to stay there again soon.

First time to Oak Island. House, furniture and carpet felt new and clean. Everything was in great working condition. Outdoor deck and spaces really extend the livable space. Super quiet area but close to everything by golf cart. Unfortunately a hurricane ruined our trip so we left early but I would definitely rent this house again if I decided to come back.

This was our first time ever to Oak Island, NC and it was for a friends wedding. This rental was everything and more than we needed. They pretty much had everything you needed in case you forgot something. Like phone charges plenty of blankets and towels and extra things in the garage for a fun family time. We immediately got on the bikes and scooters and took a ride to the scenic byway bc it was just minutes down the road. I will definitely rent again from them.

We had a relaxing weekend at Seas the Day! Everything was so clean and it felt super cozy. Everything that we needed was there and we felt like we were at home! It was a super short drive to the beach access and there a fun park/splash pad near the access that the kids loved! I would highly recommend Seas the Day!

Seas the Day has everything you need for a beach getaway! This is one of my absolute favorite rentals, from the top notch cleanliness to the beautifully appointed decor to the bikes, chairs, etc….it has it all! Very convenient location in a very quiet neighborhood. We will be back soon!
