Peruse the provided board games and gather around the coffee table for a family game night. The living room also offers a TV. This is our 2nd year coming to Holden Beach. The Windalear was very nice. We love being oceanfront and having our own private access. The front porch overlooking the dunes/ocean was great! We stayed early June of this year and the weather was perfect. Even enjoyed a couple of Beach storms from the enclosed front porch. We did find one rather large palmetto bugs in a kitchen cabinet. Vacasa sent someone to put out traps and spray the outside. Wasn't too much of a bother and only saw the one. The master bed could have been a little comfier but overall our trip was great! Kitchen was more than fully stocked with nice pots and pans. Everything you needed and some. It was also very convenient to have the washer and dryer right in the kitchen vs downstairs.

Easy access to the beach, gorgeous views, perfect deck and loved the private wooden access path. Loved the open concept of the living room and kitchen.

We loved Windalear. Holden Beach is our favorite vacation spot, and this house was just the perfect little beach house to rent. We all enjoyed mornings on the screened in back porch without having to worry about bugs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner each night, and we all loved sitting at the long dinner table either eating, playing cards, or just sitting around and talking. This was by far the cleanest of any vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The keypad entry made things so much easier (once I figured it out), loved not needing keys to get in and out of the house. The other families can take the fancy houses with the granite counters, leather furniture, and pools, we wanted a home base for when we got sick of the beach, and this was the perfect solution.

Windalear is what beach cottages are meant to be. No frills. Just like when I was growing up. Its the opposite of these plush new houses overtaking our beaches. Beach lovers are there to be outside not inside! But it has everything that people ask for within its weathered walls for comfort as well if you need it. Great time!

We had an awesome week at the Windalear in Holden Beach! The price was perfect, the house is a lot bigger than we thought it would be. Very nice place.
