We enjoyed this property because of location and easy access to the beach. We had the pool heated and that was delightful after spending the morning on the beach. Management was responsive when we discovered wasp nests around the pool/back deck areas.

This home was quiet and tucked away from the busy areas while still being close to everything. It was right next to a public access, but it wasn't very busy so you still had a pretty private area to yourself. Bring sunglasses to the pool, though! I'm not understanding a pure white fiberglass pool where there is no shade. You can't see, even on cloudy days, without sunglasses. But otherwise, everything was perfect for our family.

Time out of mind is a charming beachfront getaway. The home is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The local VACASA management team are very efficient and friendly. Our family vacation was spectacular with easy access to the beach with a gorgeous ocean view and gentle coastal breezes.

The house is perfect for a family vacation! Plenty of room for our family of eight. Our grandchildren loved the easy access to the ocean and pool! The adults loved all the safety gates since our littles are 6 and under. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to cook with which we did a lot. We did not want to leave once we got there. I was concerned about noise from the public access, but it was not an issue. We will definitely be back!!! Lovely home, view, and pool.

Can’t say enough good things from location, kitchen equipment & organization, clean clean, elevator, comfy furniture inside and out, views,… You will not be disappointed. Our family had an amazing week at Holden Beach! The home is comfortable, inviting, and perfectly positioned for a family that enjoys beach time. The swimming pool was also a great amenity. The kitchen was very well stocked and the home was clean. This house was great we look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Home was very comfortable and well situated close to the ocean, and had great views. It has two front porches overlooking the ocean which we made use of daily. Very comfortable porch furniture and very comfortable inside. Provides all you needed for cooking. It was one of the better homes we have stayed in. The pool was great. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Will return!

This house is gorgeous and located perfectly on the beach right next to a walkway over the dune. The area is quiet and very close to everything, just a mile from the bridge. My only "complaint" is the lack of shade for 90% of the day at the pool. I think next year (as I have booked again) I will bring something to give more shade over part of the pool so we don't get cooked in the heat. :)

From arrival to departure, this home featured all the essentials and "extras" we needed for a successful and peaceful vacation. The kitchen was above "very well" stocked with not only cooking utensils, tools, day to day essentials. The absolute best I have ever experienced in a rental. The layout of the home was perfect for 2 or more providing privacy among bedrooms and bathrooms. The multiple porches for viewing the ocean as well as the pool were well placed. We were there in October and the sunrise/sunset were each totally visible from the comfort of our porches/balconies. Kudos to the owner and Vacasa for providing such a well appointed and stocked vacation retreat. We will be returning to this location. Thanks!

We love everything about this house. This is our second year staying in this home and it has exceeded our expectations both years. The modern furnishings and decorating are a plus as well. The kids love the outdoor spaces and the location is awesome.

The location, beach access and all the outside decks were wonderful. Salt water heated pool was amazing. Elevator was extremely helpful since there are three levels. Beautifully decorated. All kitchen supplies, appliances were updated snd well stocked. All the beds were comfortable. Our family will definitely stay there again.

Our family of 8 had a great time at "Time Out of Mind". The home was perfectly located, very close to the public beach access, and not far from the bridge to travel off the island. Everything was clean and the home was stocked with extra blankets, pillows, sheets, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked as well. (Fridge doesn't make a ton of ice. Might grab a bag of ice to keep on hand.) We only had one very minor issue that Vacasa resolved VERY quickly. The queen bed downstairs didn't have any sheets. We called and Vacasa had sheets in our hands inside of an hour. Very professional throughout our stay. Can't say enough about how smooth everything went with our stay. The elevator was wonderful. It goes to all three floors. The first floor being the parking area under the house. Which is great for unloading/loading the cars. Can't wait to come back next year.

The house has plenty of space for a family of 7. The house has a elevator BUT if you need handicap space inside the house this house isn’t for you. We didn’t need it but I just want to make sure others know this. House has everything you need for cooking! All 4 decks ( front bottom, front top, back bottom, back top) have a lot of nice sitting area’s. The ocean view is very clear. You can see , smell and hear ocean from all decks….the back decks you can’t see of course. You have neighbors that are DIRECTLY behind you so if your on your back deck watching the kids swim and they are on their deck then your looking at each other (not a problem to us but for some ppl this will be a dislike). Shower downstairs to get all sand off before going inside. Beach access literally a few steps away! Plenty of tall gates around porches (with the safety latches) so little kids can’t get off decks to run to beach or to the pool so no worries at all!! I really wish they would update the website and add pictures because the house is building from the living room with windows wrapped around the house to view ocean from inside! The bedroom lay out is. Downstairs: 1 bedroom ONLY. With no bathroom attached to bedroom. Bathroom is located just a few steps away from bedroom. THAT IS THR ONLY BATHROOM DOWNSTAIRS! Upstairs; 1st upstairs room with twin beds, no bathroom. 2nd upstairs bedroom has a king bed, no bathroom but has a deck with pool view. 3rd upstairs room with king, very big bathroom with walk in shower and deck with ocean view . Upstairs also has a bathroom in hallway for the rooms that don’t have bathroom attached. Laundry room upstairs. House is new and hardly had anyone in it. Overall wonderful!

Time out of Mind was the perfect beach house. Its more beautiful in person and the oceanfront view is just breath taking. The house is decorated very tasteful, is well equipped with kitchen supplies and was clean when we arrived. There are balconies with very nice furniture on both sides of the house. Nice furniture by the pool too. Not once did we feel cramped in this well built and great layout home with 6 people. The beds are very comfy and they supply extra blankets as needed too. You do have to bring your own towels, but we did not mind that part as we normally do that anyways. The owners of this home thought of everything! The dishes even match the decor. I loved the dishes so much, Im ordering some for my own home. The only downside is there is no grill and we could not bring our small pet. Our coffee maker wasn't working properly on day 2 so I messaged Vacasa and a team member brought a new one to us within a few hours. Vacasa was quick, responsive and very helpful from Day 1 once our reservations were transferred over to them from Alan Holden. The check in process was a little weird to have to stand in line outside to get our keys right at 4pm, but I know they are working on that as they transition over from Alan Holden’s properties. The house is located on the east end where the inland waterway meets the ocean so there are many seashells to find and its very quiet and peaceful on this end. We rented bikes from Boomers rental and rode them to Mermaids Island grill, Capt Petes for fresh seafood and to get ice cream from Sunset Slush as its only about a 0.8 miles from these places. Its just a quick trip over the bridge to the local Food Lion to grab groceries where they have a great beer selection and always had stocked shelves with super friendly associates. If you want good pizza, make the short trip to Patronies too. Domino’s does deliver though. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home and rent from Vacasa in the future. It was just an all around perfect vacation minus having our fur babies.

The house was perfect for our family. Close beach access and a pool. The house was clean and provided all the things we needed. When we arrived we did not have towels but fortunately we were able to get some. Would definitely stay in Time Out of Mind again! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The house was so modern and tastefully decorated. The location was very convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. The pool was great and all the outdoor spaces were utilized. It was wonderful to stay in a house that was well stocked with pans, containers, utensils and appliances. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this vacation home.

5 star house! Fully stocked kitchen, which includes a coffee pot, blender, food processor, toaster, mixing bowls, measuring cups, cookware, and even Tupperware for leftovers! House is beautifully decorated and the owners thought of everything. TVs in every bedroom and night lights throughout! Second floor has ONE master bedroom with a private bath; King bed and 2 twin rooms share a bathroom. First floor has the queen bedroom and a full bathroom across the hall. Great beach front location with public access right across the street. Not too busy though. Furniture on every porch too! 4.5 stars for Vacasa. Vacasa stated that towels would be provided and they were NOT. By time we figured it out, the office was closed so we bought our own and didn't worry about it again. Sheets WERE provided for all beds. House listing is vague and when I called they didn't know anymore about the house than what was listed. Hence the detailed review!

New and beautifully decorated! Well stocked kitchen. Owner left hand soaps, shower gels, dish/dishwasher detergents and toilet tissue for our use. We in turn left tissue for the next guest. The only two things to be aware of are that 1) the house is next to public parking and access and 2) there is a new house built right behind this house which takes away some of the privacy at the pool.
