Thomas Cottage: Enjoy easy coast living at this beach cottage with a lovely view of the ocean!

The 'Thomas Cottage' is built for relaxation, which means guests can enjoy helpful amenities like central air-conditioning no matter the time of year. After some time on the sand, come back to easily spritz yourself clean with the outdoor shower (with both hot and cold water available). You'll love cooling off in the private pool after a fun outdoor hike. Enjoy the ocean breeze while sitting on the seats of the private deck just steps from the beach, then head inside to enjoy a movie night with friends. Guests will have access to a private washer/dryer, a lovely dining area and room to sit at the kitchen island, and free WiFi. Other amenities include a private driveway.

All bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom. Plus there was another 1/2 bath off the kitchen area.

The house was perfect for our family. The layout having the mutual living space on the top floor gave everyone a nice oceanfront view as well as 2 levels of covered oceanfront porches. I recently broke my foot, so the elevator was a perfect. The house was very nice. We really liked a bathroom per bedroom & the outside shower was a plus.

Great place! Very clean, nice location and access to food and recreation. My gamily loves this area because it is not so crowded. The gas grill was a messy but we did a good cleaning. Sometimes the grill gets overlooked by the cleaning people. We hope to come back to this area and this location gain.

We’ve been renting beach homes for 30 years and this home was the absolute best! Really loved the neutral colors inside which accentuated God’s beauty outside. Highly recommend!

The home is tastefully decorated, clean & nice size bedrooms. The beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture.

Great place and would definitely come back. We brought our 2 adult children, their spouses and 2 grandchildren (ages 2 and 8 months) and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. The house was very clean with great amenities. We paid extra in advance for the heated pool but it was not heated upon our arrival. They came the next day and it heated up and was perfect the rest of the time. There is a well-stocked kitchen with high-end appliances. The large kitchen table was great for us to enjoy family meals together. We brought our own high chair for the infant and booster chair for the toddler. The kitchen chairs are all stools which won’t accommodate a booster chair but there was a chair in the downstairs bedroom that a booster chair would strap to so it worked out fine. The covered porches are great with lots of rocking chairs to enjoy the ocean view. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds so all adults were able to have a great night sleep. Having private bathrooms for the bedrooms was also very nice. We needed to bring our own pack and plays for beds for the 2 little ones but that wasn’t a problem. The beach being right there was awesome. We loved the quiet beach without lots of people, likely because there aren’t any large hotels or condos nearby! We’d definitely recommend staying here and would do so again!

The location and home were amazing. House has a great layout for gathering in the evening. Pool area was great since it was pretty windy during our stay. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Definitely will stay here next year. Had everything we needed to make our girls trip a success.

This house was amazing - it had everything you could possibly need, even a bathroom to each bedroom, a half bath off the kitchen, a beautiful and extremely clean pool, and an elevator! The house itself was spotless (and I’ve never said that about a rental!). There were 3 or 4 porches that had beautiful views. And it was just a quick walk to the beach. Awesome rental!

What a beautiful home! So grateful for the opportunity to stay here with our family over Christmas. No better way to celebrate the joy of the season than gathering in the light-filled living room and kitchen overlooking the sand and ocean, sunrises and sunsets. Appointed with all we needed and sleeping on comfy beds make Thomas Cottage a place for meal gathering, talks and laughter and rest. We were also so close to the intercoastal and took walks to see the boats and water there. Vacasa is always so attentive! We love renting with Vacasa! See you again very soon Thomas Cottage and Holden Beach.

Spacious area around the pool that can be heated with advance request and additional fee. Elevator was a welcomed amenity. Beach access is easy. Good location. Wildlife included several deer observed on Ocean Blvd East in side yard and on the dunes.
