Description

Silver Linings East is a beautifully situated, completely renovated, oceanfront duplex with a spectacular oceanfront view. There's enough room for the entire family, with nearby local restaurants, ice cream parlors, and gift shops. This home, which is one side of a duplex, offers an open living, kitchen, and dining area with shiplap ceilings and rustic beams, nautical ceiling fans, a glass picture-window wall, luxury vinyl plank and carpeted floors throughout, an expandable 12-person dining table, beautiful frost-white quartz countertops, quality brushed-brass faucets, all-new stainless steel appliances including a glass-top stove, a Keurig machine, and kitchen accessories complete with a spice rack. The pantry is well equipped too, with new Cuisinart small appliances, a toaster, a coffee maker, a coffee grinder, a milk frother, an espresso machine, and more. There are two primary bedrooms, the first of which is on the main level offering its own den and full luxury bathroom. The second-floor suite has its own luxury bathroom and private oceanfront balcony for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night. The bathrooms have been renovated with light marbling custom tile, natural rock showers, frameless shower doors, quartz countertops, and top-of-the-line, brushed-brass Delta hardware. Additional amenities include new Hot Tub, new Roku/cable smart TVs (one in every bedroom), a DVD player, a VCR, fast and reliable WiFi, a spacious covered porch with rocking chairs, a large observation deck, plenty of covered parking, rinse-off showers, an outdoor sink and cleaning station, and a set of outdoor stairs leading to the deck entrance and the private boardwalk to the beach. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The washing machine is not available for use during the winter months.

We absolutely loved our time at this property! The entire house was perfect for our group — every bedroom was clearly designed with adults in mind, with comfortable queen or king-sized beds throughout. It made for a truly relaxing stay, with no one stuck in bunk beds or small rooms. There was plenty of space for everyone to gather, whether we were lounging in the cozy living room or sitting around the table playing cards. But hands down, our favorite spot was the porch. The covered area with rocking chairs was such a peaceful place to unwind, whether it was morning coffee or evening chats. Another big plus was the ample parking, which made arrivals and departures super easy for our group. We would book this property every single year if we could — unfortunately, it's already booked for summer 2026! But we'll be keeping an eye out for future openings. Highly recommend!

This property is awesome, it was everything we were looking for, just the right amount of distance from the beach. May is a wonderful time to visit, not crowded at all, actually very quiet. The home is tastefully decorated and to top it off there is a hot tub, we were not aware that it would be there, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a great beach location and a quality home Silver Linings East and West is the ideal place.

Once a year I do a beach weekend getaway by myself. This was the best stay I’ve had! Location and home were perfect. The area is very quiet and the house has everything you’ll need. Vacasa also worked with me when I had to cancel due to a health issue, and helped me book a different date very easily.

It was amazing to be able to just walk out the door and down the stairs onto beach. If you were any closer, you would be against the waves.

Location is great! Kitchen stocked well for a vacation rental. The beds were very comfortable. Close to everything but very peaceful! We would absolutely return.

Beautiful duplex right on Holden Beach! Newly remodeled with all the comforts of home! Kitchen has everything you need - just bring food! There were plenty of linens, extra blankets, even games and books for a fun time with the family! It has easy private (shared with other half of duplex) beach access. Place was clean and comfortable when we arrived. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to book it again!

Great location if you are a sheller. Wonderful back covered deck to sit and watch the daily dolphin show.

Excellent spot and beautiful home. The house was very clean and the kitchen has everything you would need including a crockpot. The downstairs furniture was well kept and comfy. Although the downstairs living area would be a little cramped with a large group. The second level is perfect, spacious and cozy. The master bedroom is just stunning. You literally can lay in bed and watch the ocean! Breathtaking! They had plenty of towels/pillows and blankets. If you are one that likes to sleep with a fan, bring one. Each room did have ceiling fans though. Never had and issue with hot water for showers-plenty for all 3 bathrooms. The heat and the AC worked perfectly. I would suggest bringing beach chairs/umbrella as theirs were quite dated. Having our own laundry is much appreciated! Grocery store was 5 mins away. Awesome little bakery too on the way to grocery. A few fantastic restaurants on the island. We did walk to the pier from this house. We felt very safe walking the beach in wee hours of the morning or late late at night. You can’t beat that you are literally right on the beach with this house. Wonderful experience!!! Thank you Vacasa!! Hope to be back very soon!

Amazing views! Comforts of home with updated bathrooms and comfy beds. Could use newer, softer bedding and some cleaning supplies on hand to clean up just normal life. Nice quiet beach with TONS of sea shells. We have found our new favorite spot on the coast.
