HB01 1 Anchors Away Oceanfront

I have been coming to costal Carolina for many years ever since I was little with my own parents. I wanted to bring my husband, two children, mother in law and sister to see one of my favorite vacation places growing up. This was my first time renting a home on the beach. The views of the ocean from the were phenomenal. The entire house is very well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. On arrival we were lucky to meet the owners of the property while they ensured that the house was ready for our arrival. Such a lovely couple and attentive to their renters. This vacation was my children's and mother in laws first time visiting the ocean and this property just made the whole experience so memorable.

This house was just the right size for for adults. The views and the beach are just amazing. Even though it is adjacent to a small parking area, the house and beach were very quiet. We would definitely come back to this house. It was a good vacation for all.

Wonderful Ocean front home on tranquil Holden Beach. Pet friendly with gated porch and direct beach access. Beautiful ocean views and breeze. All the amenities you need for a relaxing time away.

We loved that all linens were provided and the beds were made and ready to sleep in. The other personal touches of shampoo, soap, toilet paper, sponges, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, coffee, etc were just enough to keep us from having to run to the grocery store right away. Vacasa does these little things that mean a lot and that you will not get with any other realtor. The house was nice, had an awesome view. We will rent this house again and I will now rent from Vacasa from now on.

I was looking for a place to stay for just me and my dog. This place has more than enough space inside, outside, top side or down below for friends or family. Even if it's just me and my dog, we'll be back!

My family and dogs loved every minute of staying in this wonderful rental house. The house is beautiful and beach access is great! The house had everything we needed with some extra thought put into it. We loved staying here and cannot wait to return!

Amazing! Not only does Vacasa make sure it's clean but the owners take much pride in providing it top notch for your experience! The location, amenities and everything else was way more than enough. They had everything I forgot back home! I've never stayed in a place with such great comfort. What made the experience the best was knowing who we rented through and how everyone was so friendly, kind, helpful and down to earth. Huge shout out to the owners of the property!

I loved the sounds and view of the ocean from my deck. House has everything you need. I love the fact that their is only one neighbor because the other side of house is the public beach parking. Also enjoyed all the beach walks to the intercoastal. Th owners we met, they are 2 amazing people. Super kind and go above and beyond for any needs. We were blessed to meet them.

We so enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The house was clean and well maintained and you can’t beat the views! We loved this house and plan to stay again.

Beautiful house ocean front just walk down to the ocean and relax love not having to carry everything back and forth period area 8 th hours from the point area looking at oak island great fishing enjoyed our stay we have stay there several times and will definitely be back

This rental met all of our expectations. We had an issue with the sliding glass door and James was there that day to take care of it. Would recommend!

Location is perfect! Wake up to the ocean every morning is great!Several things should be updated but it didn’t really detract from our stay there! Also, dog friendly as well as the beach.

It was everything you could want in a short term or long term stay. It was nicely decorated and turn key ready! There are Fabulous views, from large windows, overlooking the ocean. A large deck gives you the unique views of the sunrise as well as the sunsets.!!! Master bedroom has sliding glass doors open to the deck and beautiful views!! The owners are just great, genuine people and so extremely helpful and accessible!! Such a wonderful place to stay. !!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The house is clean and well stocked. When we arrived, we were missing kitchen towels, and a welcome text from Vacasa asked if everything was as expected, the next day kitchen towels were hanging on the door knob. Kitchen has all of the essentials, a larger cutting board would have been handy. The beds are comfy, our crowd slept well. Outdoor shower/hose helped keep some sand out of the house, but with kids and dogs its going to happen, would have been nice to have a slightly nicer vacuum to help with the sand. Being close to the point is nice, we were able to find lots of shells and some shark teeth. If you hit low tide right, you can walk right out to the sand bar. Places to hit: Dock House Seafood, Beaches-n-Cream Ice cream, Aunt Irene's Sweets for Hot Cinnamon Rolls & Ludlums Produce. We had a wonderful vacation, Love Holden Beach!

Anchors Away had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the great collection of sand toys for the children, beach chairs, Scrabble and other games and puzzles, and good books for all ages. It's a simple cottage, perfect for relaxing at the beach. It was a good place for our two dogs. The gate on the porch was helpful for both children and dogs. We appreciated being near the East end with easy access to the more remote end of the island. There were some cars parked nearby for the day, but it's a big beach and we were not crowded or disturbed at all. We hope to return to Anchors Away!

Best beach view ever! Decor was less than HGTV, but house was clean, spotless & had everything we needed - a great beach view & easy access. Holden Beach is beautiful & has a wonderful laid back vibe.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was spotless with a great view of the ocean. I liked the privacy, being 8 houses from the inlet. It’s a great place for dogs also. We hated to leave.

Clean and tidy. Right at top end of Hilton Head, so the location has a lot of scenic walking area. Nice place to stay.

This was the first time bringing our two pugs with us on vacation. 1 Anchor's Away allowed for an affordable oceanfront option. The dogs loved their first vacation experience, and we loved having them!
