CAB01 Slowin' Dune

We really enjoyed our week in Caswell Beach and Slowin’ Dune. The house was very well equipped, easily the best rental home we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was very well stocked including cooking oils, a wide variety of spices, and even tupperware. We had plenty of towels, access to laundry, and rooms were comfortable. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood and the golf cart was perfect for easy access to the beach. We would happily return with our pup in the future!

This home exceeded our expectations in every way! The attention to small details, beautifully decorated rooms and golf cart with easy access to the beach, just to name a few, made it such a relaxing time spent there! We are already looking at the calendar for dates to book again!!

We stayed over Christmas, and when we arrived, it was decorated complete with Christmas tree, outside lights, adorable bedding, and lots of holiday cheer! There is a lot of attention to detail, with little touches that make it special. Great location! Golf cart is an added bonus. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and even a Kitchenaid mixer so I could make my Christmas morning cinnamon rolls. I had worried that being away from home on Christmas was going to make it feel less cozy, but from the minute we walked in we felt welcomed and at home. I was thrilled. We loved our stay in this beautiful home!

Slowin’ Dune was a wonderful place to stay. We had a great vacation. It was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. There was plenty of natural light. Vacasa and the owner were very helpful with any questions we had. We made very good use of the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, and especially appreciated the golf cart. We could ride bikes or the cart to the beach. There were places for them to park. Walking to the beach was easy too. There is a wagon for beach equipment. The Caswell Dunes neighborhood was truly nice. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Restaurants and stores in Oak Island and Southport were easily accessible. We heartily recommend Slowin’ Dune for a very enjoyable vacation.

The property was new and in a very quiet spot easily accessible to the beach. The golf cart made traveling to and from the beach very easy and convenient. This section of Caswell was secluded and the perfect place to unwind. Can’t wait to stay here again. Can’t recommend enough

Clean and well appointed! We loved the modern amenities. This was a perfect house for our vacation. We have a relative that lives in Caswell Dunes and this was so convenient! The golf cart was great for mini-excursions and the outdoor area was perfect for showers, tv, scooters, lacrosse with the kids. The kitchen had literally everything and tv/wifi/wii was great too. Thank you!

This home is a hidden gem. A lovely, well appointed home with great proximity to the beach. We loved the use of the golf cart and the fact that we could bring our fur baby with us made the trip that much more enjoyable. Perfect pet friendly beach too! We will be back!

Slowin Dune was the perfect place for us to spend a month escaping the Midwest winter!! Everything we needed or wanted was available. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Very clean and neat home with a 4 minute golf cart ride to the beach. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood from which you can hear the ocean. Short drive to Southport with restaurants and shops.

We loved the warm welcome of sheets on the beds, fresh towels, and cool air. The kids loved the games and the use of the golf cart made our stay extra perfect, not to mention the well equipped kitchen and big TV

Slow in’ Dune is a hidden gem nestled in a small quiet community. Within walking distance to the beach this home is comfortable and well appointed.

The location and decor was perfect. We were visiting from Michigan and were able to use the golf cart to visit our grandchildren who live in the neighborhood. Everything we needed was provided. Would certainly stay here again.

Loved our stay in this beautiful, light, clean home with an open floor plan in the living room/kitchen/dining area. Comes with a golf cart for easy beach parking, a well-stocked kitchen, an outdoor shower, seating on the upstairs porch and a second outdoor area under the house. Nice neighborhood for walks. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Special memories with our family!

Very nice, clean place full of amenities. Just wish we could have had access to the pool after a day on the beach. Golf cart was very convenient to haul everything to the beach each day.

If you don’t want to have to drive a little to enjoy great food or if you love the hustle and bustle of Myrtle, don’t come here to Caswell. But if your idea of an ideal vacation is a quiet neighborhood with a manageable walk to a beach where you may see twenty people, this is heaven!!! Beautiful home. Lovely neighborhood. Great, friendly full-timers. The best!

The house is beautiful - perfectly appointed, clean and roomy. The beach is a short golf cart ride away. We had a great stay and would definitely go back again.

Our family of four all agree that Slowin’ Dune is our new favorite beach getaway! We usually stay on the beach and so were a bit nervous at this location being across the street, but having the golf cart (2-min drive to beach) made everything so easy! The beach is secluded as only golf carts can park at beach entrance. Bonus! The home itself was the cleanest, nicest home we have stayed in (and we stay in Oak Island a dozen times as it’s our favorite beach!) I’m picky so that is saying a lot. I know when reading reviews lots always say they will return, but we truly mean it. The decor and furniture were all perfect, not overly done and most certainly comfortable. The only issue we had was that the master bed was too soft for our 40-year-old backs. We quickly switched to the third bedroom and all was well. Kids enjoyed the ring toss game outside, board games, video games and bunk beds! If you are narrowing down your search, do not think any further. Slowin’ Dune is a must!
